Privacy Notice
This notice explains how TrackSense collects and uses personal information when you visit the website, buy a licence, activate the app, or contact support.
Last updated: 31 May 2026
1. Who we are
TrackSense is the controller for personal information collected through this website and the TrackSense app. You can contact us at support@tracksense.live.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, order details, licence key, activation status, device identifier, operating system, app version, support messages, newsletter sign-up details, and basic website usage information.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to process purchases, issue licence keys, activate TrackSense, enforce activation limits, provide support, send product updates where permitted, improve the app and website, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
Depending on the activity, we rely on contract, legitimate interests, consent, or legal obligation. For example, licence activation is needed to provide the software contract, while newsletter emails rely on consent unless another lawful basis applies.
5. Payments
Payments may be handled by a third-party checkout or payment provider. TrackSense does not need to store full card details. The payment provider may process your payment information under its own privacy terms.
6. Licence activation
When you activate TrackSense, the app may send your licence key, device identifier, app version, operating system, and activation status to the licence server. This is used to confirm whether your Solo or Pro activation limit has been reached.
7. Sharing information
We may share information with trusted service providers who help operate the website, email, checkout, licensing, analytics, updates, and support. We do not sell your personal information.
8. International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections or equivalent transfer mechanisms.
9. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, including licence management, support, accounting, legal compliance, and dispute handling.
10. Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
11. Cookies
Details about website cookies and similar technologies are set out in the Cookie Policy.
12. Contact and complaints
To exercise your rights or ask a privacy question, contact support@tracksense.live. If you are in the UK, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
